Master these important tips to capture
high quality scans with ease
Instruct your patient to remain still
during a scan. Use a fixture if needed.
Start scans 12 inches (30 cm) away from the limb and proceed to
scan within the range of 6–18 inches (15–45 cm)

Keep the
limb centered on the screen
. Do not point the scanner away from the limb until after you have stopped the scan.
Scan at a steady pace. A scan
typically takes about one minute to complete
